Do you have search tips to optimise the search results? |
| |
Here are some suggested guidelines to enable you to get the full advantage of our search engine and obtain better search results:
As a general rule, we recommend choosing search options that basically describe what you're looking for and that you enter no keywords to begin with; if need be, you can subsequently refine your search by adding one or more keywords.
The keyword search is not case (upper and lower) sensitive.
Make sure you spell your text entries properly.
If you enter more than one keyword, make sure they are separated by a space.
By default, the search engine will automatically interpret the space between words as OR; all the ads displayed will contain either keyword entered no matter where they're positioned in the ad text.

I've been trying to do a search on your site but the search results are not what I expected. Did I make a mistake somewhere? |
| |
First of all, make sure that your words are spelled correctly and properly spaced. You can also try using synonyms if the words you're using don't yield satisfactory results. Make sure all the necessary fields are filled in (for example, if you were looking for a car you would go to the Car search page and fill in all the indicated fields). Use a fairly broad range of criteria to begin with and then gradually hone it down to more specific terms if you need to. Please consult our Search tips section for helpful search information.
